Amazonas Court of Auditors opens “Corregedoria Day” program on national ethics day

In addition to distributing pamphlets, teams from the agency’s Internal Affairs Department also promoted information about the agency’s activities at TCE-AM and its presence in the public sector.

The Inspectorate of the Court of Auditors of the State of Amazonas (TCE-AM) began, on the morning of this Thursday (02/05), the actions of “Corregedoria Day”, a program that celebrates National Ethics Day and will be held during throughout the month of May, to raise awareness of public servants about ethical and moral behavior at work.

According to the TCE-AM inspector, counselor Josué Cláudio Neto, “’Corregedoria Day’ is a national action, created by the Rui Barbosa Institute with campaigns to be carried out by all Audit Courts in the country, through the Corregedoria”.

“It is a campaign that is being carried out throughout Brazil and today we are distributing material with important information about the rights and duties of TCE employees, mainly because these employees are fundamental to the proper functioning of the public service”, stated counselor Josué Grandchild.

In addition to distributing pamphlets, the Internal Affairs teams also promoted information about the agency’s role in the TCE and its presence in the public sector.

At TCE-AM, the “Corregedoria Day” actions will be carried out with the aim of guiding, monitoring and evaluating the functional activities and conduct of members and employees of the Court to promote ethics in the Court, in addition to preventing and combating moral harassment , sexual and all forms of discrimination in the courts of accounts, as per guidance from the Rui Barbosa Institute (IRB).
