Vaccination coverage against Influenza (flu) in Patos de Minas is considered very low. To improve coverage in the municipality, multi-vaccination will be carried out next Saturday (4). In addition to the Influenza vaccine, other immunizations will be available for those who wish to complete the booklet.
On 13/04, Multivaccination D-day was held, which covered all Health Units in the urban perimeter and seven other districts. However, despite the great mobilization, only 2,000 doses, including all vaccines, were administered in Patos de Minas.
Next Saturday (4), the mobilization will take place in five locations in the city, considered to be very busy and where the largest number of pregnant women live, a priority group that had the lowest demand for the flu vaccine. The places that receive the collective effort are:
– Alto da Serra Community Hall: 8am to 1pm;
– USF Sorriso: 8am to 1pm;
– USF Jardim Panoramico: 8am to 1pm;
– USF Guanabara: 8am to 1pm;
– Rural Producer Fair: 7am to 12:30pm.
If you have an incomplete vaccination, just bring your vaccination booklet and a photo ID. The flu vaccine is being campaigned, and only for priority groups: children aged six months to six years, pregnant and postpartum women, health workers, indigenous peoples, teachers, people with comorbidities, truck drivers, public transport workers and people in situations of street, receive vaccination. Anyone who is part of the priority groups must bring a document that proves it.
