BRDE and Sebrae/SC signed a technical cooperation agreement whose main objective is to regulate reciprocal collaboration between institutions, aiming at economic and social development, with a focus on individuals and legal entities that are part of Sebrae/SC’s area of activity. .
The Agreement, signed on the afternoon of Monday, 29th, establishes the holding of periodic meetings to advance common negotiations and projects in the areas of competitiveness, innovation and territorial development, in addition to credit for Micro and Small Companies (MSEs).
The president of BRDE, João Paulo Kleinübing, participated in the event and reinforces that the partnership meets the entity’s main demands, which is to bring credit closer to micro and small business owners. “We want to be closer to Sebrae, think about projects aimed at energy efficiency and exports. We are launching a credit platform in the first half of the year and this cooperation will be essential to guide entrepreneurs in the correct use of credit, reducing defaults. Our objective is for these companies to grow and develop with responsible credit. We want to believe in those who believe in SC.”
The superintendent director of Sebrae/SC, Carlos Henrique Ramos Fonseca, highlighted that the program will talk to all areas of the entity and thanked those involved. “I’m sure we have what it takes to make this partnership happen, competent teams concerned with the financial health of the business.”
Sebrae’s technical director, Fabio Búrigo Zanuzzi, recalled the first 120 days of work at Sebrae/SC and told the president of BRDE that the entity has more than 160 Entrepreneur Rooms to boost the partnership. “We make all of our service agencies and Entrepreneur Rooms available to BRDE, so that we can carry out training together and offer BRDE credit lines to entrepreneurs. We have a very large capillarity and, without a doubt, this will generate good results.”
Both entities are committed to promoting increased levels of competitiveness and productivity in the State of Santa Catarina. This will be done through guidelines such as: identification of common interests; expanding the dissemination of financial support alternatives; use of tools and data generated by governmental and non-governmental institutions for strategic planning; recognition of credit as an essential instrument for raising productivity and quality levels in the market; and implementation of financial resources directed to companies and municipalities.
National Reference
Anacleto Angelo Ortigara, director of administration and finance at Sebrae/SC, believes that the project will become a national reference. “We hope that this agreement will have repercussions beyond the state, in order to also enhance the initiatives promoted in other units of the federation.”
Technical Cooperation represents a significant milestone in strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Santa Catarina. The expertise of the institutions involved will be directed jointly and assertively, aiming for sustainable economic and social development throughout the region.
The event was also attended by the superintendent of the BRDE Agency in Florianópolis, Marcone Souza Melo, and the chief of staff of the BRDE Presidency, Nelson Ronnie dos Santos.
