Naked man on the run from justice invades houses in ES

A man on the run from justice broke into houses in Vila Velha, in Greater Vitória, completely without clothes in the early hours of this Tuesday (30). José Uesley Pereira, 32 years old, had been on the run since 2019, when he gained the benefit of temporary release and did not return to prison. He is responsible for the crimes of theft and criminal association.

The unusual situation happened in the Divino Espírito Santo neighborhood. The police were called by a resident who was frightened by the noise in his backyard.

The video shows the man completely naked, walking through the backyard of the house going in one direction. Then he comes back and appears to throw a pot of water over his own head.

The suspect throws the pot on the ground and continues walking through the yard. The images don’t show it, but he invaded one of the houses by jumping over the wall and the other by jumping on the roof of the residence.

A beautician, who preferred not to be identified, is the owner of the second house that was invaded. She was notified by a neighbor who saw the man in the yard.

“We didn’t know where he was going, if he was going to go up, if he was going to break something to get into the house. We were a little scared, no one slept. We waited for his reaction and he didn’t react, he just lay here I think it’s because of the drugs,” he said.

The man spent more than two hours in the beautician’s backyard. Her 90-year-old father-in-law opened the door and came face to face with the naked suspect.

“My father-in-law opened the gate without knowing he was here. Because he woke up early, he opened the gate and the guy was there on the ground. He came to talk to the guy, asked him to leave, and he said he wasn’t going to leave He gave him a towel because the man was completely naked, and he didn’t want to leave until the police arrived,” said the beautician.

The Military Police were called and the man was arrested in the backyard of the woman’s house. Only at the police station did the police discover that the suspect is José Uesley Pereira, a fugitive from justice.

The Civil Police said that the 32-year-old suspect was taken to the Vila Velha Regional Police Station, where an arrest warrant was served against him and was later sent back to the prison system.
