A warning issued by the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) left 47 cities in Alagoas on alert for intense rain until this Wednesday morning (1st).

The forecast for the state is rain between 20 and 30 mm/h or up to 50 mm/day, with intense winds (40-60 km/h). There is low risk of electricity cuts, falling tree branches, flooding and electrical discharges

Inmet recommends that people do not take shelter under trees and do not park vehicles near transmission towers and advertising signs.

The affected municipalities are: Anadia, Arapiraca, Atalaia, Barra de Santo Antônio, Barra de São Miguel, Boca da Mata, Cajueiro, Campo Alegre, Campo Grande, Capela, Coqueiro Seco, Coruripe, Feira Grande, Feliz Deserto, Flexeiras, Igreja Nova , Jequiá da Praia, Junqueiro, Limoeiro de Anadia, Maceió Marechal Deodoro, Maribondo, Matriz de Camaragibe, Messias, Murici, Olho d’Água, Paripueira , Passo de Camaragibe, Penedo, Piaçabuçu, Pilar, Pindoba, Porto de Pedras, Porto Real do Colégio, Rio Largo, Roteiro, Santa Luzia do Norte, São Brás, São Luís do Quitunde, São Miguel dos Campos, São Miguel dos Milagres, São Sebastião, Satuba, Tanque d’Arca, Taquarana, Teotônio Vilela and Viçosa.
