-

For the second week in a row, Mato Grosso do Sul recorded no deaths due to Covid-19. The updated data comes from the SES Epidemiological Bulletin (State Department of Health), released this Tuesday (30).

In addition to there being no record of victims, the number of confirmed cases also showed a small drop. In comparison, last week there were 197 confirmed cases of the disease, while this week the data reveals 167 positive cases.

Campo Grande remains the municipality that registered the most new cases. In the last seven days there were 62. It is worth mentioning that, currently, the Capital is facing an increase in SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) cases. In light of this, Sesau (Municipal Health Department) is considering declaring a health emergency.

In the ranking of municipalities with the highest rate of confirmed Covid cases is Anastácio, Naviraí and Dourados, occupying 2nd, 3rd and 4th place, with 16, 15 and 10 confirmations, respectively.

With the new cases, MS reaches the number of 9,110 confirmations of the disease in 2024 alone, with 61 deaths from the disease.
