The Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul has open registration for 64 vacancies for master’s and doctoral courses for entry in the second semester of 2024. Registration is free and can be made until June 3rd online. (See how to sign up below).

Altogether, they are 64 vacancies offered50 for broad competition and 14 for affirmative actions. The vacancies are for the following courses:

  • Animal Biology;
  • Plant Biology;
  • Communication;
  • Education

The selection process will consist of the following steps: assessment of the merit of the project, analysis of the curriculum, pre-project presentation and proof of specific knowledge and assessment of English or Spanish language proficiency.

With the approval of the new programs, UFMS now has 73 stricto sensu postgraduate courses, 48 ​​of which are master’s degrees and 25 are doctoral degrees. The master’s degree lasts up to two years. The doctorate takes a maximum of four years.

“The new courses are extremely important to strengthen postgraduate studies and research at UFMS and its respective units. In addition to making dreams come true and being unique in the Institution, they reinforce the fulfillment of their social role in generating knowledge and training highly specialized professionals, masters and doctors in their respective areas of training, as well as strengthening research and postgraduate studies in Brazil ”, highlights the dean of Research and Postgraduate Studies, Maria Lígia Rodrigues Macedo.
