An accident between two motorcycles left a settler seriously injured this Saturday morning, 27th, on the Line 1 road, which connects Vila do V to Vila do Incra, in the rural area of the municipality of Porto Acre. The victim was identified as
Filadelson Barboza Freire, 54 years old, was on his way to a workshop on his red Honda Titan motorcycle to carry out some repairs when the accident occurred.
According to witness reports, a second motorcycle, driven by an unidentified man, made an unexpected turn to enter a branch line between the villages, resulting in a violent collision.
The impact, which caused serious injuries to Freire, left the motorcycles partially destroyed. People passing by the scene helped the victim, calling Samu’s basic support vehicle 09, based in Porto Acre.
Rescuers arrived quickly, stabilized the victim and took him to the Rio Branco Emergency Room. Despite the momentary loss of consciousness and suffering a fractured finger on his right hand, in addition to several bruises on his body, Filadelson was delivered lucid and oriented to the trauma department of the PS.
