Community restaurants in Brazlândia, Itapoã and São Sebastião will now offer three meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), every day, including Sundays and holidays. The Secretariat of Social Development (Sedes-DF) announced this Friday (26), in the Official Gazette of the Federal District (DODF)the result of the bidding process to hire specialized companies that will be responsible for managing and producing meals at the locations.
The companies Vogue – Alimentação e Nutrição Ltda and Ciga Cozinha Industrial e Gestão Alimentar Ltda were approved. The total investment of the new contracts is R$33,907,374. The forecast is that the four restaurants will offer three meals in the second half of the year.
The companies will provide continuous food and nutrition services (breakfast, lunch and dinner), without exclusive dedication of labor, to manage the units, based on the preparation, supply and distribution of meals to meet the demands of the Headquarters, according to the conditions and specifications contained in the Terms of Reference.
Currently, the Federal District has four community restaurants that serve all three meals, opening from Sunday to Sunday: Arniqueira, Sol Nascente/ Pôr do Sol, Planaltina and Recanto das Emas.
“As I always remember, as contracts are renewed, Sedes will include the offer of three meals and opening on Sundays and holidays. All at a total cost of R$2 for the citizen, R$0.50 for breakfast, R$1 for lunch and R$0.50 for dinner. The expectation is that all community restaurants in the DF will have expanded service capacity”, reiterates the Secretary of Social Development, Ana Paula Marra.
The new community restaurants in Varjão and Samambaia Portelinha, scheduled to open this year, will begin their activities with openings on Sundays and public holidays and offering three meals.
