The third edition of Decola, Solar Coca-Cola’s internship program, is ready to welcome new interns. The project announces 50 new vacancies for young people in ten cities where the company operates. Registration begins next Tuesday (23) through the Gupy platform and should continue until May 24. Various areas are covered, such as Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Engineering, Production, Maintenance, Quality Control, Logistics, among others.

The vacancies will be distributed in Manaus (AM), Belém (PA), Várzea Grande (MT), Natal (RN), Suape (PE), Salvador (BA), Maceió (AL), Maracanaú (CE) and São Luís (MA ). The program also has a focus on Technology, with priority vacancies for women and directed to the manufacturer’s corporate headquarters, in Fortaleza (CE), the heart of Solar’s digital transformation journey.

“Decola, in addition to being a special career opportunity, especially for those just starting out, is the materialization of a purpose that talks about transforming realities. We had more than 2,500 registrants in the last edition, which demonstrates the strength of our employer brand. The responsibility is high, but we believe we are on the right path, with 75% completion in the first edition and more than 50% in the second, which is still in the completion phase. We believe that Decola plays an important role in oxygenating the internal environment, as it favors innovation through the development of people”, explains Hallyson Bezerra, Attraction and Culture manager at Solar Coca-Cola.

Those who participated in the internship program describe Decola as a unique opportunity to advance their careers. Ana Valentina, who currently holds the position of Budget and Performance Analyst at Solar, went through the project and classifies the program as fundamental for developing professional and personal skills. “I see the Decola program as a polishing process, as it was essential for me to become the professional I am today. It was certainly a start in my career, in the area in which I work and which I decided to follow. Furthermore, it also helps us gain practice in the corporate world, in a welcoming way, focused on developing efficient and human professionals”, explains Ana Valentina.

Interested parties must apply on the Gupy platform, clicking on “Decola 2024 Internship Program”: https://decolasolar.gupy.io. It is important to identify the link that represents the location/city where the candidates work.

Prerequisites for taking off – To participate in Decola you must be actively enrolled in a higher education institution, in addition to having completed 50% of the full-time course. All higher education courses, including technologist, are qualified to participate in the program. However, some areas require specific qualifications. If in doubt whether or not the course is correlated with Decola’s areas, it is necessary to contact the educational institution and find out about the segment’s eligibility in the internship criteria.

The minimum age to participate in the program is 18 years old, with no maximum age for candidates, as long as they meet the other program requirements. No prior experience is required to sign up for Decola.

It is important that the intern is available to work six hours a day. Contracts last for one year and can be renewed for another three months, as long as the intern remains linked to a higher education institution and performs well within the company.

Step-by-step guide to take-off – To further leverage employment opportunities and develop new talents, in this edition, Decola brings improvements to the intern’s journey and development path, boosting preparation and availability for employment.

The selection process will consist of five major stages, between online and in-person, which are eliminatory (registration, online tests, presentation video, group dynamics and interview). Each of them aims to evaluate some skill or behavior necessary for the chosen area. When registering, in addition to choosing the location, candidates must select two areas of interest. To allocate the final area, Solar must evaluate the chosen options, open vacancies, candidate profiles and the match with the areas.

It is possible to follow the stages of the process through the profile on the Gupy platform, and all communication will be done via email. Any changes to these forecasts may occur and will be communicated on Solar Coca-Cola’s official pages and publications.

The candidate will receive by email all information about the stages and dates of the selection process, if selected to advance in the process. New Decola Program interns are expected to enter August 2024.

Benefits – In addition to the internship grant, those selected have benefits such as health plan, dental plan, life insurance, gympass, meal vouchers, food and transportation.
