The Legislative Assembly of Paraíba (ALPB) unanimously approved, in this Wednesday’s session (24), bill 707/2023, authored by deputy Danielle do Vale, which creates the State Technical and Professional Qualification Policy in the State.

The program will give preference to women who are victims of domestic and family violence.

The parliamentarian states that the objective of the project is to promote the financial independence and social inclusion of women, offering them free access to professional courses that correspond to their interests and skills, as assessed by multidisciplinary teams.

According to the proposal, technical and professional qualification courses offered by the state government must give special priority to women who are under protective measures.

“It is an extremely important project that seeks to insert women who are victims of violence into the job market so that these women can qualify, enter the job market and can, thus, break this difficult cycle of financial dependence, which is a of the reasons that substantiate this part of violence against women”, declared the deputy.
