The 10th edition of the Fair of Municipalities and Tourist Products of Rio Grande do Norte (Femptur) starts today (26) and runs until Saturday (27), with the expectation of bringing together around 12 thousand participants at the Natal Convention Center, from 2pm to 10pm. Entry to the event – the largest tourism event in the State – is free and free for all ages. In total, approximately 50 municipalities will be presenting their attractions and stimulating local tourism so that people from Rio Grande do Norte can travel through Rio Grande do Norte.
On site, there will be exhibitions on different segments of tourism in Rio Grande do Norte, such as ecological, religious, gastronomic, coastal, mountain, as well as handicrafts, a space dedicated to family farming, a stage for cultural presentations, a food court and a kids space, comments Gustavo Porpino, one of the event organizers. “The actors in this production chain meet for two days to not only promote these tourist products and services, but to generate business. The fair ends with a very productive level of business relationships, very constructive for the tourism cluster in Rio Grande do Norte”, he points out.
Participants will be able to visit almost 100 stands throughout this weekend, highlights Antônio Roberto Rocha, who also organizes Femptur. “The municipalities will represent everything that is good here in Rio Grande do Norte, there will be a lot of people from the interior, from the mountainous region, it will be a great mix of attractions and we all need to know more about Rio Grande do Norte and nothing like Femptur to cut paths with shortcuts like this, genuinely from Rio Grande do Norte”.
Within the Fair’s program, there will also be the already consolidated awards for the three best stands in the following categories: Atmosphere, Originality and Interactivity. All municipalities participating in the 10th Femptur will receive tributes at a time of integration of RN Tourism, on the main stage. With a focus on the internalization of tourism, Femptur is also a space to showcase the different faces of Rio Grande do Norte, in addition to “sun and sea” tourism.
According to the organizers, the public will be surprised by creative, technological and experiential actions, with the aim of introducing visitors to the State’s tourist strength. Entry is free, however, visitors who prefer to do so can collect their tickets in advance via the Sympla website (sympla.com.br), typing “Femptur” in the search bar. For those who cannot plan ahead, registration can also be done quickly on site.
