The Government Leader, deputy Hussein Bakri (PSD), celebrated the unanimous approval in the Legislative Assembly of Paraná of Bill 201/2024, which aims to protect the approximately 70 thousand milk producing families in the State in the face of the significant increase in the import of powdered milk.

The text, which has already been sent for approval by Governor Ratinho Junior, eliminates the ICMS exemption for the import of powdered milk and mozzarella cheese, establishing a 7% tax. “These measures are necessary because Paraná is the second largest milk producer in Brazil”, highlighted Bakri.

The Minister of the Federal Supreme Court, Edson Fachin, will be in Foz do Iguaçu this Friday (26). Fachin will participate in the “Symposium on Public Ethics”. At the opening of the event, the protocol of intentions will be signed between Itaipu Binacional and the Public Ethics Commission, followed by lectures “Democracy, Ethics and Fundamental Rights in Brazil” and “Public Ethics and the condition of women in society”.
