Mother of boy who attacked 13-year-old student at school says son is ‘destroyed’ and receives threats – Country

The mother of a boy who appears in a video attacking 13-year-old Carlos Teixeira, who died after other teenagers jumped on his back at a school in Praia Grande, in São Paulo, reports that his son is emotionally “destroyed” and has already received death threats. The information is from g1.

According to her, her son appears to be attacking Carlos Teixeira inside a bathroom at school on March 19, but he did not participate in the moment when the two students jumped on the victim’s back, on April 9. The mother says that the boy gave a statement to the Civil Police, but is ‘hiding’ most of the time.

“My son is not bad and never has been. He is devastated by Carlinhos’ death and also by what they are doing to him. These are two tragedies. People are threatening, saying that if they find him on the street they will kill him, because they want blood with blood'”, reports the woman.

She also says that, even without being summoned, her son presented himself at the 1st Police District of Praia Grande, where the case is being investigated, and that he will answer for bullying and physical aggression in two different processes.

Death of Carlos Teixeira

Carlos Teixeira, 13 years old, died a week after two classmates jumped on his back at a state school. The teenager’s father stated that his son was bullied and believes that the death occurred as a result of blows to the back.

“We take the child to school thinking that the child will study, that they will be safe and, in the end, look what happens”, lamented Carlos’ father, who works as a doorman and valet.

The attack against the victim took place on the 9th, and according to the father, On the same day, the teenager complained of back pain and shortness of breath when arriving from school. Julisses said he took his son to the Emergency Care Unit (UPA) in Praia Grande at least three times a week, where his son was treated and then released.

The teenager’s symptoms intensified on the 15th, a week after the attack. Following his son’s complaints, Carlos’ father decided to take him to the Santos Central Emergency Care Unit (UPA), in São Paulo, where he needed to be admitted and intubated. The following day, the young man was transferred to Santa Casa de Santos and died after three cardiorespiratory arrests.
