Bolsonaro’s candidate, Engler leads the race for BH with 31%

The state deputy Bruno Engler (PL-MG) is ahead, with an advantage, of its main opponent, the federal deputy Rogério Correia (PL-MG) in the dispute for mayor of Belo Horizonte (MG). In a scenario that simulates the 1st round of the 2024 elections, Engler has 31% of voting intentions, compared to 16.4% for Correia, according to research by the AtlasIntel institute.

The survey, released this Thursday (April 25, 2024), was contracted by CNN. It has a margin of error of 3 percentage points. The survey interviewed 1,267 residents of the capital of Minas Gerais through RDR (Random Digital Recruitment) from April 18th to 23rd. The confidence level is 95%. The research was registered with the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) as MG-04626/2024.
