From Friday to Sunday (26 to 28/04), a program full of art and culture will occupy the cultural spaces maintained by the State Government, through the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy. The agenda includes new exhibitions, the return of National Comics Week, the Centro Literary Festival and Feira Mística.

The exhibition “II Salão de Humor: Uma Revista à Selva Satírica”, held by the Pinacoteca do Estado do Amazonas, will take place at the Palacete Provincial (Praça Heliodoro Balbi, s/n – Centro.

The premiere takes place this Friday morning (04/26), at 11am, and will continue until May 20th. Curated by Alice Bonates, the exhibition will present the Humor collection of the Pinacoteca do Amazonas and will be located in front of the Cel Auditorium. Pedro Henrique.

This revival highlights a collection of artworks that transcend geographic and cultural boundaries, inviting artists from diverse places around the world, all united by a common goal: the importance of the Amazon.

Also this Friday (26/04), at 7pm, the free opening ceremony of the collective exhibition “Coacatu por Supuesto” held by the Postgraduate Program in Visual Arts at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and Pinacoteca do Estado will take place. from Amazonas, curated by Daniela Viviana Di Bella. The exhibition will be held at Galeria Manoel Santiago, at Palacete Provincial, and will continue until June 30th, from Monday to Saturday, from 9am to 3pm (except Wednesdays).

Following the cultural agenda, from Friday to Sunday (26 to 28/04), the sixth edition of the Manaus National Comic Week takes place, held by Nona Arte Produtora, with support from the Government of Amazonas, through the Secretariat of Culture and Economy Creative, the edition aims to highlight the talent of Brazilian comic artists, especially those from the Amazon region.

With free entry to three cultural spaces maintained by the Government of Amazonas, the program will take place simultaneously at the Amazonas Public Library (Rua Barroso, nº 57, Centro); at the Provincial Palace (Praça Heliodoro Balbi, s/n – Centro); and at the Visual Arts Center at Galeria do Largo (Rua Costa Azevedo, 290 – Centro), from 2pm to 8pm.

Among the proposed activities, the Battle of Artists is worth highlighting, where designers participate in a drawing contest, with the winner chosen by the public themselves. There will also be a live model workshop with cosplay, offering visitors a unique experience that will allow them to delve into the world of comics in an interactive and fun way.

In addition, the unprecedented exhibition “Sangue, Suor e Nanquim” will be held at Galeria do Largo, in the Center, with free visits, which provides an overview of the last 10 years of the comics scene in the North. The project is included in the notice of the Paulo Gustavo Law, executed by the Government of Amazonas, through the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy.

The second edition of the Centro Literary Festival (Flic), which also has the support of the Government of Amazonas, through the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy, starts on Friday (26/04), from 7 pm, in the Center Cultural Casarão de Ideias – CCCI (Rua Barroso, 279 – Centro). The festival, with free and diverse programming, continues until Sunday (28/04), and aims to popularize the book, making it an instrument of access to information and knowledge.

On Friday, the Festival program begins with the installation “Uma Poética da Leitura”. And, on Saturday (04/27), from 2pm to 4pm, Casarão welcomes writer Myriam Scotti with the “Literary Chronicles” workshop. From 5pm, Jarid Arraes, Amara Moira, Debora Barcelar and Sony Ferseck will meet for the conversation “Reconfiguring Narratives”, mediated by Jalna Gordiano. Also on Saturday, from 8pm, at Livraria da Barroso, located in the expansion of Casarão de Ideias, there will be launches of works.

Also from Friday to Sunday (26 to 28/04), the 5th Edition of the Feira Mística Cigana will take place, organized by the Legião da Magia Amazonas (LMA) with support from the Government of Amazonas, through the Secretariat of Creative Economy, with the theme “ The Feast of Santa Sara”, in honor of the patron saint of gypsies. The fair will be held at the Rio Solimões Hall, at Palácio Rio Negro, located on Avenida Sete de Setembro, in the center, from 10am to 10pm.

This year, the program stands out for the presence of excellent musical attractions, which promise to delight and move the public. On the 26th, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy the performance of renowned flutist and musician Kelson Souza. On the 27th, it is the turn of virtuoso violinist Fabrício Cromwell to enchant the public with his mastery of the violin. In addition to the musical attractions, the fair will feature a variety of exhibitors of esoteric products, spaces for alternative therapies and cultural presentations.

The Amazonas Artistic Corps Season concludes the week, bringing the show “Aberturas e Coros de Ópera” with the Amazonas Philharmonic and Coral do Amazonas, conducted by Otávio Simões. The show will be held this Sunday and starts at 7pm. The event will be free (not recommended for children under 6 years old), tickets are on sale at the Teatro Amazonas box office and at shopingressos.com.br
