In an unprecedented action, the DF Sports and Leisure Secretariat (SEL) will promote, next Sunday (28), a cultural event at the Parque da Cidade lake to conclude the celebrations of Brasília’s 64th birthday organized by the department. The initiative is carried out in partnership with the park administration.

From 4pm onwards, Brasilia residents will be able to enjoy a unique moment during the sunset in the largest urban park in Latin America. Along the lines of the traditional show at Praia do Jacaré, in Cabedelo (PB), a saxophonist will enter the scene to beautify the Sunday afternoon.

The public will be able to witness the tones that the sky will offer, accompanied by a soundtrack that ranges from MPB style to pop rock, ending with Ravel’s classic Bolero, Joseph-Maurice Ravel’s most famous work. The person responsible for the show is the musician Luno Sax Delucci, who has a career spanning over 30 years.

“This event will offer the citizens of Brasília another special opportunity outdoors, to enjoy moments of leisure and contemplation of the natural beauty of the park and the sky of our city”, says the Secretary of Sport and Leisure, Renato Junqueira.

Accompanied by friends or family, guests will also be able to enjoy the various gastronomic options available on site during the special occasion. To ensure comfort during the event, it is advisable that participants bring their own beach chairs or towels.

The administrator of Parque da Cidade, Todi Moreno, invites the population. “This is another cultural program that the park offers to families. We invite everyone to come and enjoy one of the most beautiful shows in the city”, he highlights.
