The Meskla troop is already counting down to the second edition of the festival. In addition to featuring national names from the rap, trap and funk scene, such as Matuê, Kayblack, Wiu, Mc Daniel, Baco Exu do Blues and Karol Conká, the event that will take over the BRB Mané Garrincha Arena on May 11th will highlight the powerhouse of local black female music. Are they, Talíz, Realleza, Vix Russel and the Daisies.

A Brasiliense raised in Samambaia, Talíz stands out in the Federal District’s musical panorama not only for her striking and enchanting voice, but for her commitment to elevating the city’s urban soul with her own art – a mission that she promises to reaffirm at Meskla.

Another name with a certain presence at the event is Realleza, grown in Sol Nascente, already considered the largest horizontal favela in Latin America. The “queen’s” magnetic presence and dancing mix of rhythms will transform the event stage into a throne.

It also strengthens the Vix Russell line. Born in Goiás and based in Brasília, Vix has been conquering the scene with songs that carry influences from rap, soul, R&B and MPB, as well as an authentic style full of personality.

Formed by sisters from Taguatingu, Sabrina and Maria Paula, the duo Margaridas carries on their parents’ artistic legacy, expressing themselves through songs that cross R&B, hip-hop, funk, among other styles.
