CRCBA opens new service point in Salvador and expands operations in the state

A new service point for the Regional Accounting Council of the State of Bahia (CRCBA) will be opened on April 26th, at 3 pm. The space will occupy the ground floor store of CEO Salvador Shopping, on Av. Tancredo Neves, in Caminho das Árvores, in Salvador.

The service is offered free of charge to accounting professionals and the general public, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, for registration requests, payments, complaints, inspection processes and delivery of documents.

The event, which will bring together guests for a series of lectures and significant activities, will be attended by authorities, accounting professionals and those interested in the segment, and will celebrate Accounting Professionals Day, celebrated on April 25th. “The atmosphere of enthusiasm and expectation is palpable and highlights the importance of this new service space for the accounting community in Salvador and the region”, highlights Sérvio Túlio dos Santos de Moura, president of CRCBA.

After the inauguration ceremony, a panel of debates on the “Taxation of investment subsidies” will, at 4 pm, address a topic relevant to the current context of the country, which will unfold into a programmatic axis with two parts: the historical evolution of taxation of subsidies and the analysis of the impacts of law nº 14,789/2023, fundamental themes for the work of professionals in the sector.

A team of renowned speakers, who will bring their expertise to enrich the debate, will be formed by the professor specializing in IFRS/US GAAP balance sheets, Renato Prone; professor and specialist in International Trade and member of the OAB/BA Tax Law Commission Carolina Silveira; the lawyer specializing in Tax Law, Camila Britto; the specialist in Tax Law, Bruna Marrara and Diogo Teixeira, specialist in customs law and indirect taxation, advises Brazilian and foreign industries, commercial companies and service providers.

The mediation will be carried out by Vanessa Assis, professor and specialist in Tax Management and Business Tax Law, and by the specialist lawyer, Renata Cruz.

“The exchange of knowledge and experiences will enrich the inauguration event of another CRCBA project, providing an environment for guests conducive to learning and new ideas. Holding this event by the organization reinforces its commitment to the training and continuous development of the sector in Bahia”, says Sérvio Túlio.

The ceremony and debate panel will be broadcast live on the CRCBA YouTube channel. The event is organized by the Council’s Tax Affairs Committee and has the support of Sescap/BA and Sindiconta/BA.
