The State University of Santa Catarina (Udesc) has opened registrations for the Winter Entrance Exam 2024, with classes starting in the second semester. Selection will be made through an in-person test or academic transcript.
There are 1,105 vacancies for 37 in-person undergraduate courses (See the list of courses below). Registration can be made until May 20th via internet.
The candidate may choose to take the in-person test and also compete for School Recordsincreasing the chances of approval.
Anyone who takes the in-person test must pay a registration fee of R$110. It is possible to request exemption until April 30th by candidates registered in the Single Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government (CadÚnico) or blood and marrow donors.
The selection made through the in-person test has 729 vacancies available in Udesc units in the municipalities of Balneário Camboriú, Caçador, Chapecó, Florianópolis, Ibirama, Joinville, Lages, Laguna, Pinhalzinho and São Bento do Sul.
Of these total vacancies, 30% are allocated to the Affirmative Action Program, 20% for candidates who have completed high school in public educational institutions, and 10% for black candidates.
High school transcript
Selection based on high school history offers 376 places, also in Udesc units located in the municipalities of Balneário Camboriú, Caçador, Chapecó, Florianópolis, Ibirama, Joinville, Lages, Laguna, Pinhalzinho and São Bento do Sul.
Of these total vacancies, 30% are allocated to the Affirmative Action Program, 20% for candidates who have completed high school in public educational institutions, and 10% for black candidates.
Enrollment in the selection process based on your high school transcript is free and is intended for candidates who have already completed high school or its equivalent by the date of registration.
The selection takes place based on the analysis of the general final average of secondary school completion.

- Lages (CAV): agronomy, environmental and sanitary engineering, forestry engineering and veterinary medicine;
- Laguna (Ceres): architecture and urbanism and biological sciences (options marine biology and biodiversity and conservation);
- Pinhalzinho (CEO): chemical engineering;
- São Bento do Sul (Ceplan): information systems, production engineering – mechanical qualification;
The list of those classified in the first call and the list of those approved on the waiting list, both through the in-person test and through the selection process based on history, is scheduled for July 1st.
Those approved who enroll will begin their studies in the second academic semester of 2024. Classes begin on July 29th.
