A 23-year-old man stabbed a former co-worker during an argument in Dores do Rio Preto, South of Espírito Santo, on Tuesday afternoon (23). According to the Military Police, the author himself handed himself in to the police and reported that the fight was motivated by a dismissal.

The suspect reported to the police that he was going home after work, when his former co-worker, a 35-year-old man, came out from behind a tree and began to complain, claiming that the young man was the one behind the attack. his dismissal from the company.

The 23-year-old said that, after being punched, he took the object out of his backpack and struck the victim.

The military reported that they were patrolling the Rio Preto Pain Center when the suspect reported that he had just stabbed another man, near the Catholic church, and was taken to the police station.

According to information from the PM, obtained from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) base, the victim had six puncture wounds on his back and would be taken to the emergency room in Guaçuí.

The Civil Police said that the 23-year-old suspect, taken to the Alegre Regional Police Station, was charged with attempted qualified homicide. He was taken to the Provisional Detention Center (CDP).
