The Pernambuco Football Federation (FPF) released, this Wednesday (24), the regulations and tables for the Pernambuco Cup Sub13, Sub15 and Sub17 2024.
The competition, which brings together eight clubs in each category, will start on May 11th and the finals are scheduled for June 22nd.
The Pernambuco Cup in the youth categories, which is new to the state calendar, will be played in three phases in all categories:
1st Phase:
Group A clubs will face Group B clubs in a single round.
The top two in each group qualify for the next phase.
2nd Phase (Semifinals):
The four best placed in the 1st Phase will form Groups C (1st x 4th) and D (2nd x 3rd).
The matches will be round-trip, with the winners qualifying for the final.
3rd Phase (Final):
The winners of Groups C and D will face each other in a single game to define the champion.
The president of the FPF, Evandro Carvalho, highlighted the importance of the competition for the development of football in the state.
“The Pernambuco Cup is a great opportunity for clubs to show their potential and reveal new talents for Brazilian football. The FPF is committed to making this competition a great success, and invites everyone to follow the games.”
The competition will be broadcast on TV FPF Betnacional.
