Fundação Bienal do Mercosul invites bars, cafes and restaurants in Porto Alegre to offer or create a dish inspired by the show, whose theme is “Trauma, Dream and Escape”. The objective is to mobilize all sectors of society in the democratization of culture and contemporary art during the period of the 13th Mercosul Biennial, which runs until November 20th.
The work that inspired the initiative is “TrinKar”, by Denise Milan, exhibited at MARGS. Stones talk a little about feelings during the pandemic. A crack in the wall features amethysts in different shades.
Café do MARGS created a sweet in honor of this work: TrinKa Açucarada, which can be tasted in the café during the show. The establishments participating in the “Arte no Prato” project are listed on the official profile of the Mercosul Biennial. All chefs are invited to participate. There is no sort of selection.
Registration has been extended until this Sunday (25). To participate, just follow the Bienal on Instagram and fill out the form available at this link.
