May, who at the time of her romance with Anderson Leonardo signed as MC Maylon, shared a recording of her trip to the cemetery on social media and wrote: “I love you. I forgave you.”

“He did me a lot of harm, but he also did me a lot of good too. To the people who are criticizing me, I say: whoever has never made mistakes and loved, cast the first stone”, she continued, who at the time of the relationship got a tattoo on the arm with the singer’s face.

The funk singer stated that she was prevented by Anderson’s family from participating in the wake, which took place last Sunday, the 28th.

“I came today (yesterday) to visit the grave because I respected his family, who didn’t let me go to the funeral. I brought him flowers and prayed. The person he loved most just left the place where he is buried. I am suffering a lot “, she said.

May and Anderson’s story dates back to 2021, marked by a series of tumultuous events, including serious accusations of rape made by her against the singer. Amid these allegations and the singer’s denial, the relationship between the two publicly unfolded.

What was Anderson Leonardo’s cancer?

Anderson Leonardo, vocalist and cavaquinist of Molejo, one of the most famous pagode groups of the 1990s, died at the age of 51. Anderson was diagnosed with inguinal cancer in 2022, a rare type of tumor that develops in the penis and anus. The singer had been undergoing treatment to control the progression of the disease and alleviate the pain resulting from it.

Anderson was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) at Hospital Unimed-Rio, where he had been since March 24, due to the consequences of treatment against cancer, diagnosed in 2022. Last week, he needed blood transfusion and his friends campaigned for donation.

Before his last entry into the unit, the singer had already been admitted on February 27th and stayed in the hospital for 20 days, after undergoing a procedure called hypogastric nerve plexus block for pain.

In addition to the procedure, he continued immunotherapy treatment. “He has been undergoing immunotherapy treatment every 21 days”, explained members of the singer’s team at the time.
