Samara’s eldest daughter, a 14-year-old teenager, was a victim of racism at the elite school Colégio Vera Cruz, located in São Paulo. According to reports, two 9th grade classmates took the young woman’s notebook, tore out pages of work and wrote a racial slur on one of the pages.
