Minas Gerais discovers that the therapist who helped her with her divorce is dating her ex

A lawyer from Varginha, in the south of Minas, is making waves on the internet after telling her followers that she was betrayed by her own therapist. Ana Serafim from Minas Gerais states that the professional who helped her ‘overcome’ her divorce process is now dating her ex-husband and father of her two children.

In a video published on the web, Ana tells the details of the discovery and how she has dealt with the embarrassing situation. The girl from Minas Gerais begins the video by saying that she was the one who recommended the therapist to her ex, after he suffered a heartbreak after the end of the marriage:

“In January 2023, Jovino (fictitious name used by the lawyer to refer to her ex-husband) left home permanently. Anyone who has been through a divorce knows that, even though it is amicable, it is a painful process, even more so when there are young children involved. And a month later, he said: ‘I found the love of my life. She is ‘one in a million’…. But about two months passed, and he discovered that she was a ‘scammer’. When it was over, he went off the deep end… It was then that I referred him to the therapist who helped me through the separation process”, details the lawyer.

The Minas Gerais woman then said that she began to notice that, as time went by, the therapist’s relationship with her ex-husband became more intimate. Distrust increased when the ex was the first to discover that the professional, who until then was married, had divorced:

“So, guys, I was the one who sent him to her! I sent him! Well, well, he started attending therapies at the house of the therapist who, until then, was married. Until one day, here at home, while talking with a mutual friend, she said: ‘Look, the therapist broke up, are you aware?’ Jovino was on my sofa, and I asked him: ‘Did you know that the therapist broke up?’ And he: ‘Yes’. I asked: ‘But who told you?’ patient who is getting divorced?’. That was the first ‘light’ that came on here.

As time passed, the evidence became clear to Ana, who decided to confront the professional who helped her get over her ex:

“I’m just calling you to ask if, when you started having a relationship with my ex-husband, did you think about the pain you would cause me? With him, I have nothing, my business is with you”, narrated Ana when remembering the conversation he had with the therapist when he discovered the relationship.

In an interview with the portal THE TIMEAna states that she had to delete the video from her social networks after being notified in court by her ex, who did not like the exposure:

“I posted this video while sleeping, when one day I woke up, it was booming, then it boomed, it went to a lot of places… My ex filed a legal notice, he said I was going to sue myself, so I took it down, so I don’t have on my social networks. But I think the universe decided to pulverize it”, says the lawyer.

Since going viral, Ana says she has received many messages from followers with similar and even worse stories. She currently talks about the controversial cases she receives on her networks:

“Many people came to me with stories that were much worse than mine. And so I dedicate myself to telling them now… There are very bizarre things, like couples with best friends who were best men at weddings, traveled together and had secret relationships during their trips, You know? Stories of the husband’s infidelity with the nanny, even stories with the mother-in-law”, he said.
