The broadcaster chose to place the participant in the reality show
On March 23, Record made the decision to leave Ysani Kalapalo out of A Grande Conquista 2. The YouTuber was diagnosed with Covid-19 and did not recover in time to enter the reality show and was replaced by Lara Costa. However, the broadcaster went back and announced the entry of the indigenous woman this Friday (26).
Record’s Instagram profile announced the decision: “Ysani, who had tested positive for COVID, has now been cleared by the attraction’s medical team. She entered the competition for 1 million reais in AGrandeConquista2 . Officially welcome to the perrengue of reality completion, Ysani”.
On her profile, the YouTuber team also celebrated the news. “The dream is not over! We are thrilled to announce that Record has decided that our Ysani will remain in the village of A Grande Conquista and continue her journey in search of the dream mansion! All exams have been carried out and our indigenous woman is ready and recovered to enter the dispute! We greatly appreciate all the love and support we received for our Ysani. Now, let’s send a lot of positive energy for her entry into the program!”, he celebrated.
In the pre-confinement phase, Ysani Kalapalo was isolated by the production of the reality show after testing positive for Covid-19. The YouTuber owns the largest indigenous channel on the video platform and began her career 13 years ago. She works as an activist on behalf of indigenous peoples and has organized demonstrations in defense of the rights of indigenous peoples and participated in Rio+20, representations at the UN and lectures on the culture and rights of indigenous peoples in schools.
