“Characterization of headache (headache) persistent in patients after covid-19” is the topic of Scientific Initiation research by Beatriz Yukie Filosi Hasegawa, 4th year student at the Bauru School of Medicine (FMBRU) at the University of São Paulo (USP).

The research project will be developed throughout 2024 and is guided by the doctor and professor at FMBRU, Luiz Fernando Manzoni Lourençone.

Researcher Beatriz Hasegawa informs that she will select volunteer patients interested in participating in the research, with the following inclusion criteria: age over 18 years, confirmed test for covid-19, persistent headache after infection and not having been hospitalized for Covid-19.

The researcher adds that after Covid-19, many people felt that their headache was no longer the same, that is, a change was observed in the frequency of pain, intensity, duration, location or type of pain.

Those interested in participating in the research should contact Beatriz Hasegawa via phone message/Whatts: (11) 99252-9901, and then answer a questionnaire.
