Maya Massafera, 43, posted new photos this Thursday (9) after undergoing sexual reassignment surgery. On Instagram Stories, the influencer posted a photo in which she shows her face up close. Afterwards, she posted images of her complete look on her feed.
Maya’s followers were impacted and reacted in the comments with lots of praise. “Wow,” one person wrote. “Mare, she came with everything,” said another. “I thought it was Anitta”, added another.
The YouTuber’s first appearance on social media took place a few hours earlier. “Pleasure, Maya”, wrote the YouTuber in the caption of the publication. A week ago, Maya posted a photo showing that her documents had already been changed with her new name and also with her gender, which now appears as female.
Mysterious disappearance
Speculation that Maya would undergo surgery gained strength after journalist Felipeh Campos revealed that the influencer had already undergone facial feminization procedures and had silicone implants placed on her breasts. On Instagram, she archived all her photos and her disappearance began to intrigue followers.
Amid the rumors, the YouTuber decided to speak out. “Sometimes, what we need is to go back to our mother’s womb… but that option is not possible. I was surviving and not living. I had to take a break from everything to find myself. It was that or go away to another plane I needed to stay away from the internet and treat myself. But I’m going back and I want to tell/share everything with you who have always been with me”, he said at the time.
