Actor Vincent Martella, known for his role as Greg, from “Everybody Hates Chris”, shared on Instagram stories a campaign to collect donations in the United States to take to Rio Grande do Sul. Collection points in San Diego, California , ask for items such as blankets, sanitary pads, diapers.
“Saint Diego! There is a plane that will take donations to the south of Brazil this week. We need: blankets, sheets, towels, clothes, shoes, toothpaste, toothbrushes, sanitary pads, diapers,” he wrote.

Balance of floods
Civil Defense updated the flood balance at 12pm this Thursday (9). According to the agency, the number of deaths rose to 107, but one death is still under investigation. On the other hand, the number of injured rose to 374 and the number of missing to 136.
There are 428 cities affected by the floods, 67,563 people are homeless and 165,112 are displaced. In total, 1,482,006 people were affected.
