Unemployed and bankrupt, man sues Neymar after losing R$62,000. Understand the controversy!

Neymar ended up in court once again. According to information from the newspaper Meia Hora, the player, involved in a controversy with a possible third paternity, was sued by a man identified as Erick Amaro Pinheiro Paiva. He blames the player for the fact that he lost all his money.

Unemployed, the man decided to invest all his savings, estimated at R$62 thousand, in betting shops. The objective, of course, was to multiply the money, but he lost everything.

Among the betting houses in which Erick placed money was Blaze, which has Neymar as its main ambassador. He claims that he was influenced by the player and the advertisements he saw on social media.

In addition to Neymar, influencers Felipe Neto, Jon Vlogs, Juju Ferrari and Nanna Chara were also sued due to advertising for Blaze. Other betting companies were also brought into the action.

Blaze was the betting house that appeared in the “Fantástico” report in December last year, which exposed that the company is being investigated for embezzlement after bettors claimed that they did not receive the highest amounts won on the site.

NEYMAR HAS ALREADY BEEN THE TARGET OF CRIME NEWS FOR MAKING ADVERTISING FOR A BETTING HOUSE

This is not the first time that Neymar’s relationship with Blaze has resulted in the player being sued. According to information from columnist Fábia Oliveira, from the Metrópoles portal, the star became the target of a criminal report due to advertising for the bookmaker.

The author of the action is William David Singer. In the process, he attached Instagram posts to prove Neymar’s link with Blaze and also added posts from the Reclame Aqui website, which show users who felt financially harmed by the platform.

The author wants the Public Ministry to issue an opinion and asks that Neymar be indicted to provide clarifications due to the advertising carried out for the company. If the police investigation progresses, the star could be convicted of promoting misleading advertising.

Neymar remains firm as Blaze’s ambassador. Since the “Fantástico” report, the player made three publications for the bookmaker on his Instagram feed. Furthermore, the company was a sponsor of the athlete’s cruise, “Ney em alto Mar”, which took place in the same month as the article was published.
