Regis Tadeu comments on Eloy Casagrande leaving Sepultura to join Slipknot

Regis then explains that he always acts from a perspective of respect, but he had a hard time believing that everything that was happening wouldn’t have some serious problem behind it, and he couldn’t understand Eloy’s decision and Andreas’ reaction, and so he decided to investigate . “I spoke to three people directly involved with Sepultura’s inner circle, and all three – under conditions of anonymity, obviously I won’t reveal their names – all three people confirmed the very same thing: the relationship between Andreas and Eloy was very worn out. To say the least”he emphasizes.

After commenting that the band did not let any problems appear, Regis comments that time ended up showing that the rumors actually came true, and again makes his point of view clear: “In a normal situation, I doubt that Eloy would have taken the step of leaving Sepultura on the eve of a farewell world tour”concluding that the financial proposal was obviously irrefutable, but it was not just this factor that determined the course of events.
