Former Gerdau is the new global CFO of the Stefanini group | Business

A group with a presence in 41 countries and more than 38 thousand employees, Stefanini has just hired a new global CFO. Rodrigo Ferreira de Souza, from Rio Grande do Sul, has a financial career spanning more than 30 years in large industries and technology companies, in the country and abroad.

He joined the Gerdau group in the 90s, where he was financial vice-president at Gerdau Long Steel North America, the American arm in the long steel sector and factories in the United States and Canada; CFO at Gerdau Sidenor, Gerdau’s European arm in the special steel sector; and was also an advisor at Gerdau Metaldom (Dominican Republic and Colombia), Aceros de Guatemala (Guatemala) and Gallatin Steel (USA).

For the last four years, he worked as CFO at Meta, a technology company from Rio Grande do Sul. Stefanini operates precisely in the technology market. The company ranges from consultancy, data analysis, payment systems to cybersecurity and digital marketing.

Last year, Stefanini had revenue of R$7 billion and projects R$8.3 billion for this year.
