Mayor Rafael Piovezan delivers New Wellbeing and Leisure Area in Vila Rica

The mayor of Santa Bárbara d’Oeste, Rafael Piovezan, handed over this Thursday (2) the New Wellbeing and Leisure Area “Santo Turci”, in the Vila Rica neighborhood. The new space for socializing among the region’s population is located between Anderson Renato and Gentil Pavan streets. Among the structures in the New Vila Rica Wellbeing and Leisure Area are a sand court, a street basketball court, a sand field, new sidewalks, as well as maintenance on the existing playground, an outdoor gym, grass planting, afforestation, landscaping and LED lighting.

“It’s nice to see the smiles on the faces of the kids playing all over the area, the kids playing sports, the families talking and celebrating the end of the day. Areas like Vila Rica, located in dozens of other locations in the city, have exactly this objective: to provide quality of life for everyone. There is already a new QualiVida center there, offering free physical conditioning classes for adults and seniors, as well as basketball and volleyball for children. You can be sure that there is much more to come!”, highlighted the mayor.

Also participating in the delivery were the vice-mayor of Santa Bárbara d’Oeste, Felipe Sanches, the secretaries Patrícia Marques (Chief of Staff), Joel Cardoso (Government), Roberta Semmler Laudissi (Administration), Paula Mori (Treasury), Rodrigo Maiello ( Strategic Management), Cleber Canteiro (Environment), Vinícius Furlan (Sports), Evandro Felix (Culture and Tourism), Tânia Mara da Silva (Education), Hamilton Cavicholli (Works and Services), André Cruz (Economic Development) and Rômulo Gobbi (Security, Traffic and Civil Defense), the president of the Chamber, councilor Paulo Monaro, councilors Carlão Motorista, Celso Ávila, Isac Sorrillo, Careca do Esporte, Juca Bortoluci, Kifu and Kátia Ferrari, the vice-president of the Association of Engineers and Architects from Santa Bárbara, José Carlos Teixeira, as well as family members from “Santo Turci”, which lends its name to the Area, and residents of the region.
