“Tutti-Frutti” should see Leticia Spiller’s return to soap operas – Backstage

A Globe recently launched “At Rancho Fundo” and is already advanced with preparations for her successor. The next novel, provisionally titled “Tutti Frutti” and under the authorship of Alessandra Poggiwith artistic direction by Natalia Grimbergis scheduled to debut in November.

For the cast, the names of Rafael Vitti and Duda Santos are confirmed as the main protagonists. Letícia Colin would be in negotiations to play the protagonist’s aunt, a role that will be played by Duda Santos, and will be involved in a love triangle with her own sister. Furthermore, production must mark the return of Leticia Spiller to soap operas.

“Tutti-Frutti” will address fashion as one of the main themes, exploring a scenario similar to that of “Beyond Illusion”, also written by Alessandra Poggi. The plot will take place in the 1950s, an era known for its elegance, rebellion and femininity. The protagonist will be a young black woman who becomes a model and poster girl for a store, an unusual situation for the time.

The recordings of “Tutti-Frutti” are scheduled to begin in August, with locations in Petrópolis, in the mountainous region of the state of Rio de Janeiro.
