Champion of the ninth season “The voice Brasil”, in 2020, Victor Alves used social media to inform that he is taking a break from music. Born in Macaé, in the interior of Rio de Janeiro, the 24-year-old singer won the competition representing coach Iza’s team, but says he is going through a difficult time now.

“I’m going to take a break, guys. I wish I could say a lot, but I’d rather just be away. I’m not doing so well and I need this time to take care of myself. I’ve been out of the game for a long time, but I only realized that now. There’s no point in There’s nothing for me to stay here pretending to be happy or content for you. I can’t have any energy to create or sing anymore, even though it’s the thing I’ve always loved doing”, he said in a post on Instagram.
“I just need to organize myself and create strength to face some situations and look for solutions. But, I’m going to reinvent myself for you. Kisses”, he added.
Pagode singer, Victor Alves won the R$500,000 prize and went on to do several shows after leaving the musical reality show. He has released four albums. The last one, live, was released last year under the name “Seasons”.
