The music reality show champion opened up about his career

In 2020, Victor Alves was crowned the champion of the ninth season of The Voice Brasil. The artist, aged 24 and born in Macaé, Rio de Janeiro, represented Iza’s team. On his social networks, the singer announced a break in his artistic career and admitted that he is going through a difficult time.

“I’m going to take a break, guys. I wish I could say a lot, but I’d rather just be away. I’m not doing so well and I need this time to take care of myself. I’ve been out of the game for a long time, but I only realized that now. There’s no point in Nothing for me to stay here pretending to be happy or content for you”, he said in an Instagram post.

“I can’t find the energy to create or sing anymore, even though it’s the thing I’ve always loved doing. I just need to organize myself and create the strength to face some situations and look for solutions. But, I’m going to reinvent myself for you. Kisses” , concluded.

Upon winning Globo’s musical reality show, Victor Alves took the prize of R$500,000 and also performed several shows. The pagode singer also released four albums.
