The premiere is scheduled for the 27th, at 3:30 pm.

The direction of Record opted for “Apocalypse” to replace “The Promised Land” from the 27th. This will be the second re-presentation of the plot, even after its performance below expectations in its first showing. In 2020, the biblical serial received a special edition in prime time during the break in the recording of “Amor Sem Igual”, caused by the Coronavirus pandemic.

Written by Vivian de Oliveira, “Apocalipse” had 155 chapters and was directed by Edson Spinello. In 2017, the plot scored just 8 ratings points and had its narrative reduced by around 60 chapters.

Currently, with the rerun of “A Terra Prometida” at 3:30 pm, Record maintains an isolated second place, with an average of 6 points.

Remember the main plot of Revelation:

The first act of the apocalypse itself is when God takes the people who truly believe in him and all children up to 12 years old to heaven. A Third World War breaks out, and outbreaks of famine and pestilence ravage the planet. The first chapters show a tsunami devastating a resort in Indonesia, followed by scenes of chaos in the cities, with cars colliding and commotion in the streets.

All the chaos results in deaths, and humanity finds itself lost in the face of the disappearance of loved ones and the emergence of conspiracy theories and opportunistic sects. Those who survive are haunted by regrets for their evil deeds. Even atheists struggle to find any explanation for what happened.

In the midst of this, the Antichrist appears in the figure of the character Ricardo Montana (Sergio Marone). He takes advantage of human vulnerability to begin his plan to conquer the world. “O Arrebatamento” is one of the most memorable episodes of the soap opera. The biblical event suggests that good people leave for heaven seven years before the end of the world, giving those remaining a chance to repent.

The Antichrist counts on a false prophet to spread the idea that Montana is a savior. Priest Stefano Nicolazi (Flávio Galvão) is one of those responsible for promoting the false image of the Antichrist as a savior. The great villain even manipulates relationships, trying to separate the couple Zoe (Juliana Knust) and Benjamin (Igor Rickli).
