The former Thumb Ricardo Costaexpelled from “The Great Conquest 2” (Record TV), spoke about his participation in the reality show and the production’s decision to disqualify him from the program. In his view, it happened after a fight with the participant Fábio Gontijothe expulsion was unfair.

Ricardo left the attraction last Saturday, the 27th. During the fight, he even took a knife to his fellow confinement.

In an interview with Link Podcast, on YouTube, published last Thursday, the 2nd, the former musician stated that he was unfairly expelled from the program and said that he had no intention of causing harm. Ricardo stated that he only intended to tear his opponent’s clothes.

“I thought it was unfair, if I said I was happy it would be a lie. I thought it was unfair because in court there is the value of emotion being brought into conflict, but I would never do that. There the idea was to scare him, as he did, and tear his clothes. It was to do something to give the audience dynamics, that’s what the program asks for”, explained the former participant.

Still during the chat, Ricardo assured that he was sad about being expelled from the reality show.

“Of course I’m sad, I’m 53 years old, I’ve had the success I’ve had, I don’t have a pension, I sell snacks every day… I think that’s how life is, I served as an example. I hope that everyone who went there sees it as a lifetime opportunity to grow”, she highlighted.

Asked about the possibility of accepting an invitation to participate in the next edition of “A Fazenda”, a reality show also on Record, the former Polegar stated that he would accept.

“It will be God’s purpose, I want it. It would be another chance that I couldn’t rule out. Of course I want it. I would be what I am, but I would be more careful, not take such a naive attitude [como tomei em A Grande Conquista]”, he acknowledged.

“I was very naive. At no point did I say I was going to kill the guy, but I didn’t want to say I was going to rip his clothes off. But the production was very smart. Yes, what happened was valid. I served as an example to prevent it”, he added.
