In Family is everything, Venus (Nathalia Dill) has dedicated her days to investigating her father’s death. Pedro (Paulo Tiefenthaler) died in a cable car disaster, but recently, his eldest daughter discovered that the device had been sabotaged.
In Daniel Ortiz’s plot, it is already known that Otto (Márcio Vitto) was the one who ordered the cable car to be sabotaged. However, he acts following orders from a hidden villain, who threatened Pedro and was interested in his death.
As the investigation progresses, Vênus makes several people uncomfortable, including her ex-stepmothers and her aunt Catarina (Arlete Salles).
All of this indicates that, soon, someone will take off the mask and Globo’s seven o’clock soap opera will gain a new villain – precisely the one who ordered Pedro to be killed.
Who are the suspects of having killed Pedro in Família é Tudo?
When investigating her father’s past in Family is Everything, Vênus began to seriously suspect that one of her ex-stepmothers could be the real killer. This is because the young woman discovered that they all had bad fights with Pedro, to the point of threatening to kill him.
Nanda (Ana Carbatti), who seems like an elegant woman, has already admitted that she lost her temper in the past and pointed a gun at Pedro. Lulu (Cris Vianna), at first, seems like the least suspect, but Andromeda’s mother (Ramille) has already shown that she doesn’t take shit home.
But, according to a theory raised by the Notícias da TV portal, Leda (Grace Gianoukas) could be the main suspect. At least, that’s what the clue involving her baptism indicates, since Leda is the name of the queen of Sparta who was immortalized by Zeus in two constellations, Swan and Gemini. In other words, her name refers to astronomy and mythology, just like Pedro’s children.
Did Catarina kill Pedro in Família é Tudo?
Catarina was also the one who seemed uncomfortable with the investigation of Venus. And it wouldn’t be strange for her to be behind the murder of her own nephew, since Hans’ mother (Raphael Logam) was always jealous of Frida (Arlete Salles) and coveted her inheritance.
However, the suspicion comes up against another theory raised by Family is Everything fans. There are those who believe that Catarina is actually Frida, who took her twin sister’s place to watch over and protect her grandchildren. This theory is based on the fact that, since Frida’s disappearance, Catarina has never tried to hinder her nephews on their mission. On the contrary, she seems genuinely concerned about them.
In the flashbacks, when Frida and Catarina appear together, it is clear that the “serious twin” hates her sister and her great-nephews. Therefore, the character currently appearing in Family is Everything really seems like Frida, and not Catarina.
But such a theory does not prevent the real Catherine from being behind Pedro’s death. The murder would even justify the character’s existence, since Catarina – or Frida pretending to be her – barely appears in the soap opera.
Who killed Pedro in Família é Tudo?
However, a person beyond suspicion may be behind Pedro’s murder. According to findings by Vitor Peccoli, a reporter for TV História, Brenda (Alexandra Richter) may have had something to do with Pedro’s death.
In this case, Pedro would have been murdered by Brenda’s ex-husband, who discovered that Vênus’ father was having an affair with her. It is worth remembering that, so far, Brenda’s past has not been explored much in the soap opera. In other words, she may even have been the reason for the crime, or, suddenly, the person who ordered it! It will be?
