Parintins – Approximately 300 fans dressed in red and white disembarked this Tuesday afternoon (30) in Parintins (369 kilometers in a straight line from Manaus) to participate in the traditional Red Dawn of the Garantido ox. The boat docked on the island around noon, under a light rain, and the excited passengers sang songs of the bull from Baixa do São José.
Pedagogue Adrielso Calandrine, 36 years old, was one of the first to leave the vessel. “The expectations are wonderful. I’m happy and my expectations are high to give my all later,” he said. The presence of cunhã-poranga Isabelle Nogueira also raises expectations. “It will be the cat’s first official appearance. And she will definitely give it her all, as she always has,” she added.
Back in Parintins after a decade, Geiziane Brasil, 38 years old, revealed the excitement of participating in Alvorada do Garantido.
“I’m ecstatic. Thrilled. I’ve cried, I’ve played, I’ve screamed, we’ve jumped out of the boat. Expectations are high. After 12 years without coming to Parintins, I’m back. The heart is racing, and the expectation is that it will be the greatest Dawn of all time”, said the woman, emotional.

Brazil also awaits the appearance of Isabelle Nogueira. “Isabelle gave great visibility to the (Parintins) Festival, so everyone is looking forward to her return,” she said. Fan Nancy Viana, 60 years old, assured that she sang tunes all the way from Manaus to the island of Tupinambarana. Her expectations are also high with her first Alvorada.
“The expectations are great for tonight. It will be exciting. The heart is racing. The trip was great, it couldn’t be better. I’ll give my heart tonight. It’s my first time at Alvorada, but I come every year for the ox,” said Nancy. “I’m confident,” she replied when asked if she believes in the Guaranteed ox’s victory this year.

On Monday night (29), Boi Garantido held the technical rehearsal for Alvorada do Boi Garantido. The organizers of the event hope to receive six thousand fans inside Curral Lindolfo Monteverde, located in the São José neighborhood, in Parintins. The expectation is that eight thousand people will be on the streets of Parintins after the show. The ox, the items, the drumming and the fans will continue on the walk to the Cathedral of Nossa Senhora do Carmo.
