Chapter 13 – Monday, April 29
Marcelo and Blandina’s plan against Gonçalves Dias works. Dona Manuela talks to Quinota when Ariosto arrives. William Tell confesses to Arthur his passion for Charity. Zefa Leonel confides in Primo Cícero that he found, in the Blue Grotto, the substance that indicates the presence of Paraíba tourmaline.
Quinota confronts Ariosto, and Dona Manuela and Artur like it. Marcelo steals Blandina. Dona Manuela throws Ariosto out of the house. Quinota sleeps at Artur’s house. Seu Tico Leonel and Quinota try to stop Zefa Leonel from exploring the Blue Grotto. After a landslide, Zefa Leonel finds Paraíba tourmaline.
Chapter 14 – Tuesday, April 30
Quinota and Seu Tico Leonel find Zefa Leonel with the Paraíba tourmaline in hand. Ariosto stays at Tobias’ hotel. Caridade approaches Guilherme Tell, and Celso fires her. Blandina realizes that Marcelo stole her, and asks Dracena for help.
The Leonel family receives the news about the tourmaline. Vespertino and Deodora approach Ariosto. Zefa Leonel takes the tourmaline to Ariosto, who tries to trick the prospector, without success. Blandina steals Dracena’s savings. Ariosto demands that Artur discover the origin of Paraíba tourmaline.
Chapter 15 – Wednesday, May 1
Arthur hesitates to comply with Ariosto’s order, and confronts his father. Ariosto asks Emi to locate Marcelo and summon Jordão. Zefa Leonel seeks advice from Father Zezo about tourmaline. Charity asks Deodora for a job, without knowing the type of business the woman runs.
Ariosto orders Marcelo to bring him the tourmaline, whatever the cost. Father Zezo agrees to hide the Paraíba tourmaline for Zefa Leonel, and Fé registers it. Artur asks Seu Tico Leonel for Quinota’s hand in a relationship.
Chapter 16 – Thursday, May 2
Seu Tico Leonel asks Artur about his offer in exchange for Quinota’s hand. Zefa Leonel reveals to Father Zezo that the land that houses the Blue Grotto belongs to her family by right, and Fé supports her cousin. Artur gets along with Seu Tico Leonel, and Quinota agrees to date the boy.
Zefa Leonel and Padre Zezo demand that Fé keep the discovery of the Paraíba tourmaline mine a secret. Ariosto invites Zefa Leonel to dinner, and the woman humiliates him. Caridade starts working at Deodora’s cabaret, and Zefa Leonel reprimands her cousin. Marcelo sees Artur and Quinota together.
Chapter 17 – Friday, May 3
Marcelo Gouveia is perplexed when he concludes that Artur and Quinota are dating. Zefa Leonel and Deodora recognize each other. Vespertino and Caridade become tense with the atmosphere between the two. Zefa Leonel remembers when she was stolen by Deodora, and tells Seu Tico Leonel and Tia Salete that she found the woman again.
Margaridinha and Benvinda dream of a love like Quinota’s. Caridade insists on working at the cabaret, and Deodora plans to use the girl to defend herself against Zefa Leonel. Marcelo questions Artur about his new love. Blandina plans to take revenge on Marcelo. Marcelo approaches Quinota.
Chapter 18 – Saturday, May 4
Quinota confronts Marcelo Gouveia and claims that he fell in love with another man. Margaridinha plots to get money for Zefa Leonel’s trip. Quintilha evaluates Tobias’ hotel. Zefa Leonel confesses to Father Zezo that he is thinking about taking Deodora’s life.
Marcelo insinuates to Artur that Quinota will leave him. Father Zezo confides in Zefa Leonel that Deodora has already been punished for all her crimes. Marcelo discovers that Caridade is working at the cabaret. Artur asks Quinota to be engaged.
In Rancho Fundo it is shown by Globo from Monday to Friday, after Vale a Pena Ver de Novo, and on Saturdays, after Caldeirão com Mion.
