In Cheias de Charme, Miguel Roncato played Samuel, the rebellious son of Lygia (Malu Galli). The actor, who was 19 years old at the time, is now 31. Away from soap operas, he has been working on series and has also recently dedicated himself to training in a new career.

Born in the city of Nova Prata, in Rio Grande do Sul, Miguel Roncato is also a dancer and screenwriter. He moved with his family to São Paulo (SP) at the age of 13, already thinking about pursuing an artistic career.

His first jobs on TV were when he was a teenager. He debuted in Passione (2010) and later starred in several soap operas on Globo, such as Insensato Coração (2011) and Geração Brasil (2014), by the same authors as Cheias de Charme.

After some time off TV, he returned to the air on Record, where he appeared in Apocalypse (2017) and Jesus (2018). Afterwards, he was in the cast of Topíssima (2019), his last soap opera, five years ago.

During this period, Miguel Roncato also dedicated himself to academic training. Away from TV, he graduated in Social Communication in 2018 and did a postgraduate degree in Literature, specializing in English.

His most recent acting work was on Netflix. Last year, he appeared in the cast of the series Todo Dia a Same Noite (2023), about the Kiss Nightclub tragedy. He will soon be seen in the Senna series, a biography of Ayrton Senna (1960-1994) which should be released later this year.

Cheias de Charme is being reprized in the Special Edition track, on Globo afternoons, right after Jornal Hoje. Originally shown in 2012, at 7pm, the soap opera was written by Filipe Miguez and Izabel de Oliveira, directed by Denise Saraceni and Carlos Araujo.
