“My contract with Globo ends now, in July, after 40 uninterrupted years. I am very grateful for having stayed there, for having formed my entire professional personality there”, explained the wife of the actor and dancer Jarbas Homem de Mello.

“I’ve had a lot of hands extended to me and I’m really very grateful. Now it’s time to do other things. I don’t have any audiovisual projects, but we have a lot of theater projects and things are appearing”, said Raia, who was on air recently during a participation of a few chapters in Terra e Paixão.

“I also think this second, freer act of mine is beautiful and is part of this moment I’m living in,” said Claudia, who understands the change in Globo’s exclusivity contracts as a common process of transformation in the sector.

Outside of TV, Claudia Raia has theater projects

While she still doesn’t have any invitations to return to open TV or even streaming, which has become a favorite among actors who recently left Globo, Claudia Raia remains focused on theater, where she has some projects.

“We do seven sessions a week and it’s really hard. I’m active, I take ballet classes, I work out, it’s a busy day to day. I prepared for this show, I lost almost 15 kilos during rehearsals and by dieting”, he revealed. the actress on TV Fama.
