Samsung is planning an update to the LockStar app, part of the Good Lock suite of applications, to allow Galaxy S24 users to customize the device’s always-on display. Currently, the app does not work with the capabilities of the South Korean company’s most recent line of flagship smartphones. The application received a recent updatebut she did not resolve this issue.

The information comes from Samsung itself, which, through its official forum, responded to a user’s question on the subject. The moderator said that the company is working on a solution for this, but did not commit to any date for the update’s availability.

Unlike mobile wallpaper updates via widget control, Samsung LockStar allows you to customize various aspects of your device’s displayfrom the presentation design (which influences the appearance of icons and screen transitions, for example) to more technical details, such as the brightness and contrast that changes depending on the look of your choice.

Unfortunately, robust as it is, LockStar still does not have integration with the Galaxy S24 line’s always-on display. For this reason, fans of the South Korean company charge the company almost daily for an update. This, however, was the first time that Samsung commented on the matter through one of its official channels.

The news is certainly welcome, but it is just one in relation to another demand: some application icons are “disobeying” the visual scheme of some designs – something that Samsung has also promised to resolve, but has not offered any specific forecast.
