Name of the moment in Brazilian volleyball, the country’s top scorer and, now, MVP of the Men’s Superliga. Darlan confirmed his favoritism and with Sesi-Bauru’s title over Campinas, this Sunday morning, he was elected the best player in the competition. The 21-year-old opposite scored 626 points in the championship, 22 of which in the final at the Geraldão gymnasium, in Recife.

Darlan! Darlan! Darlan is his name! Defines the championship! Sesi-Bauru is the champion of the 2023/2024 Men’s Superliga!

The team from Bauru won 3 sets to 0 and won the second title in its history, the first since moving from São Paulo to Bauru.

From Darlan’s team, three players also appeared in the championship squad (Lukas Bergmann, Thiaguinho and Douglas Pureza), as well as coach Anderson Rodrigues. Players from Campinas, runner-up, and Suzano were also awarded.

Among the central players, Julinho and Judson were chosen. Adriano and Lukas Bergmann were the best pointers, and Douglas Pureza was elected the best libero. The best setter was Thiaguinho.

Lukas Bergmann was chosen as the Superliga’s breakthrough athlete at the age of 20. Setter Thiaguinho won the VivaVôlei Trophy for the best athlete in the decision.
