Despite the controversial scenario, the Irishman made a point of announcing that he had become the new co-owner of the Bare Knuckle FC, an event competing with the UFC in which athletes fight without hand protection. During the show’s programming, ‘Notório’ announced the partnership.

Ladies and gentlemen, the big announcement I have for you today: Conor McGregorMcGregor Sports and Entertainment and I now own the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. Welcome to the big leagues. Dave Feldman, honey, we did it,” Conor declared.

After the announcement, the Irishman’s partner, Dave Feldman, was asked about Dana White’s possible discomfort with the situation. Without hesitation, the businessman defended that this attitude could affect the UFC president.

“You’ll probably be a little upset. Your biggest star will now talk about another company. Then you won’t be happy about it. But he’s not worried about us,” Dave declared at a press conference.
