Opponent of Santos in the debut in Series B of the Brazilian Championship, the Paysandu guaranteed a place in the final of the Campeonato Paraense by beating Água de Marabá 4-0 last Saturday, in the second match of the State semi-final. The team’s goals were scored by Carlão, Nícolas, Lucas Maia and Leandro Vilela.

In the decision of the Campeonato Paraense, Paysandu will play the classic against Remo. Before the start of Série B, Paysandu and Remo also face each other in the semi-finals of the Copa Verde. The first game takes place this Wednesday.

Another six teams competing in Series B are competing for state titles, two of which came out ahead in the first match, as did Santos. Sport beat Náutico 2-0, away from home, and is very close to the Pernambuco title. CRB beat ASA 1-0, also away from home, and came closer to the Alagoas title.

Vila Nova and Brusque lost the first game of the decision and will have a complicated task to seek the title. The team from Goiás lost 2-0, at home, to Atlético-GO while the team from Santa Catarina lost 2-1 to Criciúma, also at home.

Ceará drew 0-0 with Fortaleza in the first game of the Cearense Championship final and will need a victory in the second game to win the title. The two finals take place at Castelão. A new draw in the second game takes the decision to penalties.

Amazonas lost 3-1 to Parintins this Sunday and was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the second round of the Amazonense Championship. However, as they won the title in the first round, they are already in the State final and are waiting to win the second round.

América-MG, Avaí, Botafogo-SP, Chapecoense, Coritiba, Goias, Guarani, Ituano, Novorizontino, Mirassol, Operário-PR and Ponte Preta are already eliminated from the state championships.
