Among all the guitarists who played with Ozzy Osbourne, who would be the best? Madman answered the question during an episode of The Madhouse Chronicles, his new podcast, which he presents alongside Billy Morrison, guitarist in Billy Idol’s band (and ex-The Cult).
“Tony Iommi was, and is, the best guitarist I’ve ever played with,” said Ozzy Osbourne, according to a transcript published on Metal Hammer magazine’s website.
“It’s like the Beatles, they wouldn’t have been the same if any of them had played [em outra banda], or the Rolling Stones if Mick Jagger had left. I’ve played ‘Paranoid’, ‘Children Of The Grave’ and ‘War Pigs’ [com outros guitarristas]. They play the notes, but it’s not the same thing!”, concluded the iconic vocalist.
