VIP catwalk: see how Madonna will cross the crowd to get to the stage

A few hours before the start of the show, the promenade – and even the track – on Avenida Atlântica was already packed in front of the hotel where Madonna is staying, the Copacabana Palace. How, then, will the pop star cross the six lanes, the median and the two promenades between the hotel and the stage, on Saturday night (4)?

One temporary walkway of approximately 100 meters which leaves the Copacabana Palace and arrives directly on the stage was set up – as is customary at big events where the stars are staying at the hotel – it was also like this at the Alok show, for example, in August last year.

A security guard waits next to the structure, inside the hotel, to prevent access by onlookers.

With the catwalk, the team will not have to face the crowd. Authorities wait 1.5 million people on the sands of Copacabana.

Now the stage has 821m², twice the size of the one used on the world tour. They are 24m² in front It is 18m to the ceiling. The floor was raised 2.40m above the ground, to facilitate the public’s view of the sand.

The diva remains discreet. Since Monday, when she arrived, she only appeared once at the window and, on stage, she rehearsed masked on Thursday (2) and Friday (3).
